Terms of Service

Version 1.1 · effective 2026-10-09

1. Who we are

AideFirst is operated by AideFirst Home Services Private Limited, a company registered in India, with its registered office at 3rd Floor, Sai Enclave, Lakshmipuram Main Road, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh 522007, India.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "AideFirst" mean that company. "You" means the person who creates an account and books care.

We currently serve Guntur and Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. Availability by area and service type is shown in the app and may change.

2. What we do

We arrange in-home care. Care is delivered by independent care professionals whom we recruit, verify and engage — they are not our employees. We select and assign the professional for each booking, set the price, and arrange payment.

Child Care — non-clinical supervision and daily assistance

Elderly Care — non-clinical assistance with daily living

Disability Care — non-clinical assistance and accompaniment

Patient Care — attendant support, as described below

2.1 What Patient Care covers

Patient Care is attendant support. It covers assistance with mobility, hygiene, feeding and comfort; observing and reporting how the patient is; and reminding about medication.

The professional will not administer medication, dress wounds, manage a catheter, or perform any other medical procedure.

Where we are able to offer clinical care by a professional registered with the relevant State Nursing Council, the app will say so clearly before you book, and separate terms will apply.

2.2 What we are not

We are not an emergency medical service. The SOS button connects you to our support line and to your nominated emergency contact. It does not dispatch an ambulance and does not summon the police. In an emergency, call 108 for an ambulance or 100 for the police.

We do not diagnose illness, prescribe medication, or alter any treatment plan set by your doctor.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract.

If you are booking care for someone else — a child, parent, or another adult — you confirm that you are authorised to make arrangements on their behalf and to share their information with us for that purpose.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password and MPIN confidential and for activity under your account. Your mobile number is your sign-in identifier.

Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

5. Booking and pricing

Care is booked as a shift plan — Day, Night, or 24-hour — for a chosen date range or a set of chosen dates.

Prices are shown per month. Shorter bookings are charged at a higher daily rate, because a short or scattered engagement is harder to staff than a continuous one. The rate that applies is displayed before you confirm.

The price calculated by our system at the time of booking is the price that applies. Prices may change, but a change never affects a booking you have already placed.

6. Payment

Payment is in cash, to your care professional, when the service ends. We take no payment in advance and the app does not charge you.

The amount is the price shown when you confirm the booking, including any coupon applied. Your care professional confirms in the app that they have received it; that record is your receipt.

Pay only the amount shown, and only at the end of the service. Do not pay in advance or agree a different amount with a care professional. Any other payment is not a payment to AideFirst, does not count towards your booking, and is not covered by our verification, replacement guarantee or dispute process.

7. Cancellation

You can request a cancellation from the app at any time. Before you confirm, we show you exactly what, if anything, you would owe. We review the request and respond within 2 business days.

Nothing is paid in advance, so nothing is refunded. What you owe depends on how far the booking has progressed:

Before care begins — cancelling is free

After care has begun — you pay in cash for the days already served, today included, pro-rata against the booking total. Days after today are never charged

The day care is under way always counts as served — a professional is already with you for it.

The amount is calculated on the day we approve the request, not the day you asked, so a request that waits reflects the days you actually received.

If we cancel — because a professional is unavailable and we cannot substitute, or for any other reason — you owe nothing for the days not delivered.

If you owe cash after a cancellation, our team will contact you to arrange payment.

If you are unhappy with an assigned professional, tell us and we will assign a different one within 2 business days. We would rather replace than cancel.

8. Care professionals

Before we engage anyone, we verify identity, address, qualifications and prior experience, and we obtain police verification.

Verification reduces risk. It does not eliminate it, and we do not warrant that any individual will be free of error.

Please book through AideFirst rather than arranging privately. For [N] months after a professional last worked with you through AideFirst, please do not engage that person for the same care outside our platform. Our verification, replacement guarantee, dispute process and insurance apply only to bookings made through us — a private arrangement carries none of them, for you or for the professional.

9. Your responsibilities

Provide a safe and lawful environment for the person delivering care

Disclose, honestly and in advance, any medical condition, infectious illness, mobility need, behavioural condition or safety risk relevant to the care being provided

Ensure a responsible adult is contactable throughout the care period

Do not ask a professional to perform tasks outside the agreed scope of care, in particular medical procedures

Treat care professionals with respect. We will end a booking, and you will owe for the days already served, where a professional is subjected to harassment, abuse or discrimination, and we will report unlawful conduct to the authorities

10. Responsibility and liability

Care professionals are independent and are responsible for their own professional conduct and for holding any registration their work requires.

That does not make us a noticeboard. We select the professional, set the price and arrange your payment, and we accept responsibility for those things: for verifying the people we engage, for matching an appropriate professional to your booking, and for putting it right when the service falls short.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid or owe for that booking — except where the law does not permit that limit, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, and fraud.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

11. Your personal data

We process your data to arrange care, take payment, keep records we are legally required to keep, and — only if you have separately agreed — to send you promotional messages.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may withdraw consent, request access to your data, ask for correction, and ask for erasure. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and why, and use Account → Export my data / Delete my account to exercise these yourself.

Marketing consent is separate from these terms. Refusing it does not affect your ability to use AideFirst, and you may withdraw it at any time from the Account screen.

Grievance Officer: Grievance Officer, AideFirst, grievance@aidefirst.com, +918631234567. We will acknowledge a grievance within 7 days.

12. Suspension

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that puts a care professional at risk, or that we reasonably believe is being used unlawfully. Where we can, we will tell you first.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we publish a new version number and date, and ask you to accept the new version the next time you open the app.

A change never alters the price or terms of a booking already placed.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to your rights under consumer protection law to bring a claim where you live.
